Dominion Post searching for WVU stories, memorabilia, photos for fan guide

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — With the 2019-20 WVU sports season set to begin in a few weeks, The Dominion Post is in search items for the Fan Guide, set to be released in August.

Fans can submit anything related to WVU sports, whether it’s football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or any sport within the athletic department.

It doesn’t matter how big or small, if it’s something important to you, The Dominion Post wants to hear about it. It could be a memory of watching Jerry West play at the Field House in Stansberry Hall, storming Mountaineer Field after the Mountaineers knocked off No. 3 Virginia Tech in 2003, or going to Hawley Field on a brisk spring day with a family member in the 1970s — if it’s a memory you cherish, we want to hear it.

We would also love to have photos from all eras and sports, including tailgating in The Pit, Blue Lot or at a road game.

The Dominion Post would also like to find the biggest WVU fans out there. If you know someone, or you consider yourself a mega-fan, please send us contact information for a potential story. Memorabilia, man caves and other WVU gear would make a great photo opportunity.

All submissions may be sent to fans@dominionpost.com. Please include “fan guide” in the subject line, as well as other contact information such as full names and phone numbers.
