Richard Nelson Henderson, 72, of Mt. Morris, Pa., died at 8:55 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, ER in Morgantown.
He was born Thursday, March 20, 1947, in Morgantown, a son of the late Frank Henderson and Dorothy Thomas Henderson.
Mr. Henderson was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Henderson enjoyed wood working. He worked as a self employed carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Lana Friend Henderson, whom he married on June 1, 1975.
Also surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Robinson and her husband Jeremy, of Dilliner, Pa.; one son, Richard N. Henderson, Jr., of Dilliner, Pa.; two grandchildren, Kara Sharratt and Kylee Robinson; one sister, Bonnie Stump, of Mount Morris, Pa,; and one brother, Bill Henderson, of Mount Morris, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one son, Ryan Henderson; and one brother, Donald Henderson.
