Loraine Marie Wolfe, 92, of Masontown, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Pine Ridge Nursing Home.
Loraine was born in Morgantown on March 26, 1927, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Mamie Pearl (Cale) Gibson.
She was employed by WVU Hospital and Sterling Faucet and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Masontown, the Ladies Eagle Lodge and the Masontown VFW Post 1589 Ladies Auxiliary.
Loraine is survived by her daughter, Sandi Gibson and husband, Roy, of Masontown; a brother, Edwin Gibson and wife, Carmen, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a half sister, Leona Johnson, of Masontown; a half brother, Raymond Gibson, of Pisgah; five grandchildren, Tonya Harmon and Tara Stawiarski, both of Pittsburgh, Tammy Wolfe, David Wolfe II, Steven Wolfe, all of Ohio; five great-grandchildren, John Harmon, Ella Harmon, Aaron Stawiarski, Kaytlyn Parsons and Gage Wolfe; and two great-great-grandchildren, Cassidy Parsons and Colton Parsons.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Nelson Wolfe; her second husband, Dewey Wolfe; a son, David N. Wolfe; and three half brothers Donald Wheeler, Kester Gibson and Orville Wade Gibson.
Friends may call at Field Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. Saturday with the Masontown VFW Post 1589 Ladies Auxiliary service at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, in Masontown, at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, with Pastor Casper Dalton Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
