David Bruce Willis, 59, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, July 9, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in Morgantown on Aug. 14, 1959, a son of the late Richard Willis and the late Alice Gabbert Willis.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Deborah Ann Guminey Willis; three children, Virginia Schrout, of Uniontown, Pa., Beth Crouser, of Kentucky, and Lance Hamilton, of Morgantown; one granddaughter, Gabrielle; and a brother, Jody Willis and his wife, Martha, of Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Tommy.
Friends may join the family to honor David’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Morgantown, from 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Ray Frankhouser. Following the service, David’s request for cremation will be honored by his family.
