Paul Marvin Kearns

Paul Marvin Kearns, 77, of Morgantown, passed away Monday evening, March 3, 2025, in his residence.
Born August 12, 1947, in Uniontown, Paul was a son of the late Marvin and Margaret Teegarden Kearns.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Elaine Cobb Kearns; sons, Donald Kearns and Tony Martin; his grandchildren, Brody and Brena Kearns, Amber and Mark Fitchett, and Jessie, Trisha and Joshua Martin; his great-grandchildren, Iris, Cheyenne, Salem and Greyson Martin, and Landon, Emma and Gannon Fitchett; a brother- in-law, Cecil Stone; nieces: Melissa Redding; Melinda Hancock and husband John and their son, Benjamin; and Marie Owen and husband Scott and their son, Evan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Paula Marlene Stone, and Marilyn Jean Kearns.
Paul was Apostolic by faith.
He was a hard-working man, who provided well for his family and took great pride in his work. For 22 years, he worked at Preston Memorial Hospital as a general custodian, and as the executive housekeeper and laundry manager. He then continued his work at Mon Health Medical Center for 13 years in the Housekeeping Department and retired from there in 2016.
He enjoyed music, and painting.
Friends may join the family to honor Paul’s life and legacy in Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Avenue, Westover (304) 292-9494, from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 9. On Monday, March 10, Paul will lay in repose at the Apostolic Gospel Church, 51 Birch Hollow Road, Morgantown (Cheat Lake) from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., officiated by Bishop Wheeler A. Estepp. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
