Michael Eugene St. Clair, 62, of Reedsville, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, in his home, after a long battle with heart disease. His will to live was stronger than what his heart would support.
He was born March 29, 1962, in Morgantown, a son of the late Franklin O’dell and Thelma Grace Miller St. Clair.
Michael was a 1980 graduate of West Preston High School.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He worked locally for several years as a cook and bartender at various restaurants.
Michael is survived by two sisters, Beckie Groves and husband Donald of Kingwood, and Sharon Dick of Morgantown; two brothers, Roger St. Clair and wife Connie of Masontown, and Clark St. Clair and wife Ruth of Reedsville; stepson, Lawrence Harr of Virginia Beach, Va.; many nieces and nephews; his special friends, John White and David Cantu, both of Reedsville, and Kristian Humphreys of Forest Hills, Md. and children, Mazzie and Deliah Humphreys, who he proudly claimed as his nieces.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his partner in life, Harry “Bub” Harr; brothers, George St. Clair, Wayne St. Clair, Alton St. Clair, and Claude “Barney” St. Clair; his sister-in-law, Gloria St. Clair; and his fur baby, Sasha.
Compassionate and professional cremation services will be provided by the Field Funeral Home in Masontown.
To honor Michael’s wishes, there will be no public services. A memorial service and inurnment will be held at the Beverly Hills Cemetery, in Morgantown, at a later date.
