Paul Michael Harvey

Paul Michael Harvey, 60, died Sunday, January 26, 2025, in WVU Ruby Hospital, after complications following paralysis due to a spinal cord injury. He was born August 24, 1964, in Morgantown, to the late Nancy Rose Morris Harvey and James Dennis Harvey. Paul was devoted to his mother and took care of his parents’ farm after work and on weekends.
Paul graduated from University High School and was a farmer and welder by trade. He worked for Zeni Drilling and Coastal Drilling as a driller and later for Holbert Metal Works as a welder and machinist, building and repairing drilling equipment.
He loved children and animals and was always tinkering on old cars and tractors with a compassion for working with metals.
Paul was a caring son, a great employee, and the most wonderful husband in all the world.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Harvey; two sisters, Mary Jane Kerns (Wayne), and Rose Ann Perroots (Shane Haught); two nephews, Jesse Perroots and Michael Kerns; two nieces, Katelyn Kerns and Lila Perroots; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Friends are invited to gather in McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 30. Visitation will continue in the funeral home from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, January 31, with Pastor Joe Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mt. Morris.
