Nolajean Jamison

Nolajean Jamison, a beacon of love and steadfast presence in her community, passed away peacefully on the Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, WVa.
Born in November 1933, to the late J. Hayward Saffle and Ina A. Clutter Saffle, in Rivesville, WVa., she brought joy and kindness into the world for 91 remarkable years.
Nolajean was the loving matriarch of a large and close-knit family. She is survived by her cherished children, Randall L. Little (Jeanette), and Melvin T. Ott (Lynne); son-in-law, Eric Wolfe; her step-children, Diane Marie Jamison, Babette Cauble, and John Robert Jamison (Debbie). Nolajean’s joy was multiplied by her grandchildren, Terica J. Springer, Joshua B. Wolfe, Nicholas S. Little, Madelynn Little, Nichole Reyes, and Justin Ott; her stepgrandchildren, John Robert Jamison, Victoria Jamison, Aaron Michael Jamison, and Alexis Cauble; and her treasured nine great-grandchildren.
Her memory will be held dear by all.
Nolajean now joins her beloved husband, J. Vernon Jamison; parents, J. Hayward Saffle and Ina A. Clutter Saffle; her daughter, Twyla Jo Wolfe; and her brother, James Saffle, who preceded her in death.
Throughout her life, Nolajean dedicated many years as a skilled secretary at Sears, where her professionalism shone. Her commitment extended beyond her professional life as she was also a devoted member of the Riverside Apostolic Church, where she found great comfort and community.
Family and friends may gather 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 2, and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, the time of the funeral service, in McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, with Pastor Jeremiah Bostic officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
