Debbie Lynn Miller-Yost

Debbie Lynn Miller-Yost, affectionately known to those close to her heart as Aunt Debbie, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 21, 2024. Born October 29, 1966, in Morgantown, she remained in Morgantown throughout her remarkable life. Her final days were spent surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.
Debbie was the pillar of her family. She leaves behind a lasting memory of warmth and devotion. An exemplar of love was her marriage of 27 years to her beloved husband, Keith Yost.
Debbie was the cherished daughter of Harlen “Junior” and Martha Demidovich Miller; the adored sister of Teresa Tennant (Chris), Timothy Miller (Donna), and Terry Miller (Jessica); and a cousin whom she thought of as a sister, Jaime Kiseli. Celebrating her memory are her beloved nieces and nephews, Rodney (Ana), Jordan, Sarah, Molly, Kobe, Anna, Blake, Beau, Alisha, and Brian; alongside her four great- nieces and nephews, Reilly, Ryder, Reese, and Brooke, whom she adored and considered her own; her father-in- law and mother-in-law, Bill and Joann Yost; and a brother-in-law, Kevin Yost. Her aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and a circle of friends too vast to count have been touched by the light of her presence.
Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved grandmothers, Bessie Miller and Kathryn “Katie” Demidovich.
As a lifelong learner, Debbie’s pursuit of education led her to earn a Masters of Business Administration from Waynesburg University. She applied her knowledge and passion in a career spanning over three decades at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, later known as Viatris, where she had several close friends who were fortunate to work alongside her.
She proudly wore the title of the cool aunt who relished in spoiling her nieces and nephews and taking them on adventures. Planning and decorating for special events and weddings, bringing joy and beauty to celebrations for family and friends brought her immense joy. Debbie’s love of “the farm” was another hallmark of her life; she treasured her time spent among the cattle and chickens.
A woman of deep faith, Debbie lived out her convictions through active service at Greater Love Family Outreach Ministries.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Debbie’s memory at McCulla Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 26, and from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, with Pastor Junius Lewis officiating. Following the celebration of her life, Debbie will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery.
Her love and generosity have left an indelible mark on all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed.
