Intermed Labs expanding partnership with Mon Health to include all Vandalia Health

MORGANTOWN – Intermed Labs, a four-year partner with Mon Health System, is broadening that partnership to the entire Vandalia Health System.

Intermed Labs and Vandalia Health will officially launch this expanded relationship at 3 p.m., Dec. 11, at the CAMC Center for Learning and Research in Charleston.

Intermed is a medical technology startup studio launched in 2020. It’s mission is to offer a pathway of innovation for physicians, clinicians, and engineers – to connect individuals who have ideas for improving patient outcomes with the expertise and resources needed to turn those ideas into real-world solutions that can be scaled and commercialized.

Mon Health System and Davis Health System make up Vandalia North. Vandalia Health is based in Charleston and includes CAMC Health System. Vandalia has locations across West Virginia and in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. It has 17 hospitals, more than 13,000 employees and more than 2,000 doctors and advanced practice providers.

Intermed and Vandalia said their partnership will connect the early medtech ideas generated by providers to Intermed Lab’s engineering and entrepreneurial talent. Innovative ideas will be developed and brought to market, all while elevating the quality of care both locally and nationally.
