Clinton Lee Adams Sr., 87, of Cheat Neck, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024.
He was born July 7, 1937, in Morgantown, a son of the late Deane and Goldie Bailey Adams.
He was a graduate of University High School in 1955.
Clinton worked for West Virginia University at the Physical Plant as a carpenter for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Smith Adams; his sons, Gordon (Donna), Michael (Joyce Thomas), Clinton Jr.; and daughter Alyson (Lee) Litton, all of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Carla Adams, Scott (Heather) Adams, and Christopher (Katherine) Litton; great-grandkids, Camden and Brinley Adams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Delphia Ann Galloway Adams, of 56 years; his brothers, Edgar, Allen (Ted), and Deane Jr, (June); and his sisters, Ella Alene Bowers and Mary Louise Reynolds.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and clinical associates at Ruby Memorial Hospital for their love and support during his stay.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, in Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, with Pastor Daniel Strosnider officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Cemetery in Cheat Lake.
