Sarah Ann Price Whitty, 87, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, in her home, after months of declining health. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 19, in St. Thomas à Becket Episcopal Church in Morgantown. Friends are invited to visit before the service and join the family at a reception afterward.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Thomas Becket Episcopal Church, Morgantown, WV 26508; the ASPCA; or to the Roanoke Island Historical Association, 1409 National Park Drive, Manteo, NC 27954.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home.
