Meshell Lee Watkins

Meshell Lee Watkins, 50, of Kingwood, a loving wife, awesome mother, loving sister, and the best daughter anyone could ask for, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024.
She was born March 10, 1974, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of David Feather and Phyllis Adams Feather of Kingwood.
She enjoyed giving back to the community. Meshell did charity projects and volunteered for FRN and Starting Points. She helped start the after-school program in Kingwood.
She was an avid reader, often finishing a book the day she started it. Her favorites to read were vampire and romance novels. She loved all animals, especially dogs and cats. Meshell enjoyed traveling, camping, visiting museums, shopping, and crafting. Most of all, Meshell loved her family. She enjoyed spending the day with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Meshell is survived by her loving husband, Craig Watkins; sons, Nathan Daniel Watkins and wife Rosa, Nathan Robert Watkins, and Aaron Watkins and wife Kaitlyn; seven grandchildren; sisters, Robin McKinney, Crystal Bigler, and Cynthia Barlow; brothers, Kevin Feather and Brian Feather; special niece, Diana Grace; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Meshell was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosa and Haymond Uphold, Parley and Dorothy Taylor, and Roselee and Lloyd Johnson; her brother-in-laws, Kenny Watkins, Gary Watkins, and Junior Shaffer; and aunt, Rose Hagedorn.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, October 17, in the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, where a funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m., with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating.
