Lila Lee Bucklew Travinski

Lila Lee Bucklew Travinski passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born April 6, 1930, to Ray Bucklew and Augusta “Gussie” Wiles Bucklew.
She worked as a secretary for WVU Hospital, Dr. Ralph Ryan, and the Mon County Health Department, where she dedicated more than 30 years of service and retired from in 2004.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis J. Travinski Sr.; two sons, Francis J. Travinski Jr. and David Allen Travinski; seven siblings, Virginia Belle Poland of Tunnelton, Geraldine Casteel of Morgantown, Donald “Tony” Bucklew of Morgantown, Betty Lou Shrader of Youngstown, Ohio, Daniel Bucklew of Booth, Joann Konchesky of Morgantown, and Robert Bucklew of Morgantown; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Weaver Travinski of Morgantown; and her companion of more than 10 years, Billy Armstrong.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Kevin Travinski, and Gregory Lee (Gina) Travinski; her grandchildren, Kelly Jo (Phillip) Cox, Kathy Jo (Aaron) Nething, Zachary (Marissa) Travinski, Gregory (Kaitlin) Travinski, Lucas (Bridget) Travinski, Jamie (Jay) Sustakoski, Kylie Travinski, Justin (Catherine) Travinski, Sasha (Josh) Zinn; 14 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The family would like to give a special thank you to her nieces, Jill Bucklew Burgess, Pam Bucklew Berryman, Dixie Bucklew, and Peggy Bucklew Miker; along with her caregivers, Nicole Watkins McVey, Sue Wright, Mon General Hospital, and Morgantown Healthcare Center.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. Lila will be interred at Beverly Hills Memorial Garden with her husband at a later date.
