HS VOLLEYBALL
University sent eight seniors out on a positive with a senior night sweep of Wheeling Park in straight sets 25-18, 25-15, and 25-14.
The eight UHS seniors are Caroline Adams, Allison Kinsley, Addison Kitzmiller, Marissa Mitchell, Katie Pilgrim, Avery Reed, Natalie Voithofer, and Kate Williams. University returns to action on Thursday when it travels to Buckhannon Upshur at 7:00 pm.

Trinity Christian won its OVAC quarterfinal playoff game 4-1 over Caldwell (OH) on Tuesday night in Morgantown. The Warriors (7-3-1) got two goals from sophomore Evan Knight, while senior Lucas Kniska registered a goal and an assist. Junior Jakub Galik rounded out the scoring with his fourth goal of the season.
Trinity Christian will travel to Steubenville Catholic (6-3-1) on Thursday at 5 p.m. in the semifinal round of the OVAC playoffs. The winner will face either Linsly or Wheeling Central (the winner of the other semifinal contest) at noon at Wheeling Island Stadium in the OVAC championship on Saturday.
Morgantown boys and girls will also host semifinals on Thursday evening at Pony Lewis Field with the Mohigan boys hosting Steubenville at 5:30 p.m. followed by the girls battling Wheeling Park.
