Taste of Morgantown returns for the 14th year, but this time it’s heading to Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center at Mylan Park.
The event is set for Sunday and vendors will include Monarca Taqueria, Rising Creek, Tutto Gelato, Mama K’s Kitchen, Bourbon Prime, The Wine Bar at Vinter Valley, Ruchi Priya Indian Kitchen and The Cupcakerie Cafe & Frose.
At least nine others will also be in the lineup.
The American Red Cross and related local services receive proceeds from the event. The Home Fire Campaign of the Red Cross benefits through safer homes, safety education free smoke alarm installations and assistance to those displaced by house fires.
Taste of Morgantown also supports various youth and adult community wellness initiatives through Mylan Park.
Besides tasting the best of Morgantown, attendees can participate in games and entertainment. They will also be able to vote for their favorites with a judges panel choosing the winner. Awards include Best Savory Dish, Best Sweet Dish, Most Creative Dish, Best Grab and Go, Best Presentation, Best Use of W.Va. Ingredients and the Best Overall Dish.
Ticket range from $20 for kids under age 12 to $40 for adults and $85 for early/all access.
