Carol Joan McCartney, 81, of Morgantown, entered eternity on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Carol was born on April 1, 1943, to the late Carl and Rose McCartney. She was the oldest of four children.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, and again from 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug.17, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Megan Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations made to Blackhills Free Methodist Camp, 3791 McKinney Cave Road, Reedsville, WV 26547.
