Mary Madeline Alvarez, 94, of Morgantown, passed away at Morgantown Health and Rehab Center on Monday, August 12.
She was born Nov. 21, 1929, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Ralph and Grace (Mundell) Lemley.
Mary was a member of Faith Baptist Church on Greenbag Road and was a 1947 graduate of Morgantown High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Alvarez.
Mary is survived by three sons and spouses, Ralph (Rusty) and his wife, Libby and their two daughters; Victor and his wife, Beverly and their three children; and Joe, and his wife, Lorraine and his daughter.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV, from 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, until the time of the funeral service at noon with Pastor Rich Schimansky officiating.
Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
