Helen Edith Liston, 86, of Terra Alta, passed away in the Kingwood Healthcare Center in Kingwood on Friday, August 9, 2024.
The daughter of the late Junior N. and Hazel Ann Rexroad Livengood, she was born Oct. 17, 1937, in Cuzzart.
Edith is survived by a son, Lynn Liston, and two daughters, JoAnn Liston and Juanita and her husband, Ronald Kelley, of Terra Alta; two brothers and their spouses, Eddie and Nina Livengood, of Ohio, Richard and Cindy Livengood, of Kingwood; two sisters and their spouses, Linda and Richard Gibson, of Terra Alta, and Susie and Ron Kelley, of Bruceton Mills; three grandsons and their spouses, Jason and Terri, Justin and Corey and Chris and Catie; and eight great-grandchildren, Khloe, Walker, Delton, Andrew, Jackson, Ben, Cooper and Christian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gretna (Sider) Louise Hardman and two brothers, Curtis (Pete) and Charles (Skip) Livengood.
The family wish to thank Amedisys Home Healthcare and Kingwood Healthcare Center in Kingwood for the special care they gave their mother.
The family will be having a graveside service and burial at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Albright (Valley Point) at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024.
Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills will be providing funeral services.
