The Monongalia Arts Center welcomes the community to its highly anticipated annual fundraiser from 7-10 p.m. Saturday at the historic building in downtown Morgantown.
This year’s theme, MAC Dreamhouse, promises an evening of entertainment and Barbie-inspired fun in support of the arts.
MAC Programming Coordinator Aldona Bird said all proceeds will go toward MAC’s programs and initiatives, helping to foster a thriving arts community in Morgantown and beyond.
“This event will not only support our mission to promote the arts, but also will bring together art lovers for a night of fun and celebration,” Bird said. “Our goal is to expand programming for kids and adults, while continuing to renovate our beautiful space.”
Attendees can experience two new gallery shows as well as live demos from artists showcasing projects from upcoming classes. A silent auction featuring unique arts experiences will offer guests the opportunity to win unforgettable artistic adventures.
“We’re inviting Barbies, Kens and Allans to doll up for our MAC-made selfie station,” said Marly Ynigues, MAC board member.
“We can’t wait to see everyone in their stylish Barbie-inspired attire,” Bird added.
Music will be performed by pop powerhouse Grace Campbell and Friends. Guests will be treated to bites catered by Madeleine Marie’s, along with beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
Tickets and sponsorships are available now. Tickets are $70. Arts-themed childcare is available for $45 per child. Sponsorship opportunities range from $100 to $2,000, available on the Monongalia Arts Center website. Visit monartscenter.com/donate.
