Thelma Jeanne Robey, 85, passed away peacefully in Morgantown on August 1, 2024.
Born on Jan. 24, 1939, in Pine Bank, Pa., to the late Oliver Garrison Stewart and Mary Etta Jones Stewart, she grew up in a household bustling with warmth and siblings, a place where she learned the value of family and kindness.
A devoted homemaker, Thelma poured her heart into creating a nurturing environment for her children and all those she held dear.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Homer Robey, with whom she shared many cherished moments; her parents; her siblings, Marigold Diane Stewart, Rose Marie Morris, Ephraim Alexander Stewart, George Wendell Stewart, Lloyd Paul Stewart, Frederick Donley Stewart and Sherman Stewart.
Thelma is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Edward Homer Robey Jr. and Eric Robey (Lori); and her adored grandchildren, Jacob and Ethan Robey, who will miss their grandmother’s kind spirit and loving embrace.
Thelma’s legacy of kindness and devotion to her family will resonate through generations, and her memory will be treasured forever.
