WVJC students among recent graduates

Career-training institutions West Virginia Junior College (WVJC), East Ohio College (EOC), United Career Institute (UCI) and Boardman Training Center (BTC) hosted their inaugural combined graduation ceremony earlier this month.

The ceremony was held at the Chestnut Ridge Church in Morgantown,  where 108 graduates from the four institutions’  allied healthcare, professional training and nursing programs gathered to celebrate the culmination of their hard work and dedication to their education.

“We are incredibly proud of our graduates’ dedication toward their education and enjoy celebrating their accomplishments on graduation day,” said WVJC Campus President Samantha Esposito.

Previously, each institution hosted an individual graduation ceremony. This combined ceremony is an opportunity for graduates to celebrate their accomplishments with their peers and network with students from other institutions.

“It was so amazing seeing all of our graduates come together with their families to celebrate their amazing accomplishments,” said Career Management Director Malana Malonson. “This is one of my favorite days of the year because we get to celebrate all of our students’ hard work and success.”
