The West Virginia Wellness Festival hosted by Forgiven Warrior is set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the Hazel and J.W. Ruby Community Center at Mylan Park.
A 5K/1-mile Fun Run Race, sponsored by Cardinal Pediatrics, will start at 9:15 a.m., then the doors to the festival will open to the public.
It’s not too late to sign up for the Festival Competition or the 5K. Racers can register for the 5K at the event, and fitness competition registration closes Thursday.
There will be 89 exhibitors, including the West Vigrinia Junior College Mobile Nursing Lab, Pet Helpers pet adoption and interactive educational displays.
A kids corner is sponsored by WVU Medicine Children’s and will feature activities to keep children engaged and entertained all day.
