Edward William Austin, 88, of Westover, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Morgantown Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Ed was born Sept. 9, 1935, in Westover, a son of the late John and Violet Nuce Austin.
Ed was an avid gardener and retired after working for 20 years at East Oak Grove Cemetery. He enjoyed listening to country music and going to the Sagebrush Roundup.
Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Johnson of Morgantown; and his grandchildren, Laura and Jennifer Johnson, both of Morgantown.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by several siblings.
At his request, Ed will be cremated with no services scheduled.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Morgantown Health and Rehabilitation Center for their excellent care and attention to Ed during his time there.
