William (Billy) Herron Rodd’s spirit left his body and this world to be in a better place on April 17, 2024.
Billy’s memorial service will be held at the Monongalia Friends Meeting House, 648 East Brockway Avenue, Morgantown, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.
All are welcome, and those who attend will have the opportunity to share memories, thoughts, readings or whatever they like, or to sit and reflect with family and friends.
In keeping with Billy’s spirit, both the program and the dress code will be decidedly informal.
Cremation services were provided by the Dering-Henson Funeral Home, of Morgantown. His ashes will be buried alongside his parents in the Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
