Bradley Eugene Rosenberger, 70, of Bruceton Mills (Glade Farms community), passed away suddenly while on a camping trip in Somerset County, Pa. on June 6, 2024.
The son of the late Donald and Kathrine Morrison Rosenberger, he was born on April 24, 1954, in Bruceton Mills.
Brad was a retired surface coal miner who operated a highwall drill. He enjoyed hunting and watching NASCAR races and was a Mountaineer and Dallas Cowboy fan. And he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Brad is survived by his wife, Cathy Shaffer Rosenberger; three brothers and their spouses, Ronald and Patty Rosenberger, Ed and Dottie Rosenberger and Doug and Barbara Rosenberger; and four sisters and their spouses, Madeline and Ernest Fearer, Mary Lou and Andy Reckart, Barbara and Tom Bryner and Jackie and B.J. Elliott. Also surviving are brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Maria Teets, Chuck and Jackie Teets, Stanley and Debbie Shaffer, Steve and Sharon Shaffer, Ken and Gerri Shaffer; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Scott Rosenberger; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stanley and Doris Shaffer; and a brother-in-law, Alvin Teets.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, and from 10 a.m. on Monday, June 10, until the 11 a.m. service with Pastor Chuck Teets officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
