Mrs. Shirley Ann Blosser, affectionately known as Shirshy, a beacon of maternal warmth and unwavering love, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Morgantown on June 4, 2024.
Born on May 23, 1939, to the late Ralph Parker Grimes and Gladys May (née Johnson) Grimes, Shirley lived a life marked by generosity, selflessness and wisdom.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, and again from 1 p.m. on Friday, June 7 until the time of the 2 p.m. funeral service, with Pastor Casper Dalton Jr. officiating.
