Whether you’re a fan of live music, sporting events, community celebrations or classic car showcases, there’s an event tailored to your interests. So, gather your loved ones and get ready to celebrate West Virginia’s birthday month by partaking in the diverse flavors, cultures and creativity that define our Mountain State.

 Abbamania concert, 6:30-10 p.m. Friday.  

 Abba-solutely! The Ruby Summer Concert Series is back and better than ever, kicking off with Abbamania. Abbamania has been captivating audiences worldwide with their sensational tribute to the Swedish “Supergroup,” ABBA. Experience live renditions of ABBA’s greatest hits, including “Dancing Queen,” “Waterloo,” “Mamma Mia” and many more. Gather your friends and family and don’t forget your dancing shoes for a memorable night under the stars! 

 Kegler’s WV State Tournament, times vary, June 14-16 

Swing batter, batter! Lace your cleats for this three-game guarantee baseball tournament taking place at Mylan Park. Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of our West Virginia hills, this tournament is set to bring together baseball enthusiasts from all corners of the state and beyond. 

  West Virginia Birthday Party, 1 p.m. June 15. 

 Mountaineers, unite! Get ready to put on your party hats as we join Main Street Morgantown to celebrate life, community and another unforgettable year in the Mountain State. Indulge in a West Virginia Beer Garden featuring craft beers and ciders, a vibrant Kids’ Zone, local food and vendors, and live music performances by Ryan Cain & the Ables, Grace Campbell, and Adrian & the Soul Miners! 

 High Street Cruise-Ins, 4-8 p.m. June 19. 

 Rev up your summer with Main Street Morgantown and Dream Machines Car Club’s 2024 High Street Cruise-Ins. Get ready to ogle at vintage vehicles, classics and custom cars on the third Wednesday of every month. Meet the owners, shop till you drop and treat your taste buds downtown  — it’s going to be a “wheelie” good time. 

 Ruby Mountain Soul Concert, 6:30 p.m. June 21. 

 Join the West Virginia Botanic Garden for an evening of enchanting music on the Event Lawn with local artist Ruby Mountain Soul’s captivating string melodies. Bring your favorite blanket or camp chair and immerse yourself in a unique blend of musical styles. Entry is $5 for WVBG members, $10 for non-members, and children 6 and under are free. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
