15th Annual River City Festival runs Friday-Sunday in Rowlesburg

The 15th Annual River City Festival of the Arts will run Friday-Sunday in Rowlesburg, presented by the Rowlesburg Revitalization Committee.

Performances take place in the Historic Rowlesburg Auditorium. Visits to museums and exhibits are located in the Historic Rowlesburg School and are available all weekend. Lunch will be served by donation in the River City Cafe on Saturday and Sunday. Two dinners will be served, Saturday and Sunday, at the Christ United Methodist Church/Social Hall with admission at the door.

The Life of Pearl S. Buck by Karen Vurance, Actress, storyteller and writer, 2 p.m.
Mountain Music with a Back Porch Twist by Clyde Sypolt and Band, 4 p.m.

Saturday
The Battle of Rowlesburg by Doug Riley, actor storyteller and historian, 11 a.m.
With a Song in my Heart by Cristina Nassif, Soprano. Accompaniment by Dr. Thomas Nassif, pianist, 2 p.m., $15

Dinner at The Christ United Methodist Church Social Hall, admission at the door
RCF Gala Dance Evening featuring The Allies Band. Admission at the door.

Wheeling Symphony Percussion Trio, 1:30 p.m., by donation
249th Army Band Concert Conductor Jerimiah Bennett, 4 p.m., by donation
