Summer is right around the corner and it’s time to celebrate with a splash. The pool will be open seven days a week from noon-5 p.m. Check out Camp Muffly Park’s Facebook page for more information regarding season passes, private pool party rentals and more. Dig out your bathing suit from the back of the closet and let’s kick off the summer season right!
Memorial Day Heroes Swim Free Event, 10 a.m. Monday.
There is so much to remember this Memorial Day and what better way than spending it poolside at Mylan Park? All first responders, active military and retired veterans and their families are invited to swim completely free. There is no need to pre-register, just bring a valid ID and service credentials for a day of memorable fun. Here in Mountaineer Country, we honor those who have sacrificed for our freedom and now it’s time to celebrate.
Morgantown Farmers Market, 8:30 a.m. June 1.
The Morgantown Farmers Market is a great option for those looking to find local and fresh ingredients, produce, meat, baked goods and more! Stop by the Spruce Street Pavilion from 8:30 a.m.-noon every Saturday and get a taste of the mountains while supporting local farms at the same time. This is a great adventure for the whole family, or leave the kids at home for a relaxing morning stroll. We can’t wait to see what you find at the market.
