Jeanine May Livengood Rancjik, 87, of Morgantown, passed away at Assisted Living at Evergreen in Morgantown on the morning of Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
She was born June 16, 1936, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Erma C. Tichenor Livengood.
Survivors include her son, James Rancjik and his wife, Melissa; granddaughter, Ryiah Miker and husband, Jacob; and great-grandson, Cobyn Tate Miker. Additionally, she is survived by a sister-in-law, Jo Jo Livengood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Buster” Rancjik; siblings, June Smith and her husband, Alfred “Bud,” Jean Todesco and her husband, Pete, Junior “Fuz” Livengood and his wife, Jean, Joy Trickett and her husband, Buck and Paul Livengood.
Jeanine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Friends may join the family to honor Jeanine’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown, from 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Bill Page. Jeanine will be laid to rest with her husband at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
