Eileen F. Wolfe, 89, of Point Marion, Pa., passed away at her home on Friday, May 3, 2024, following a brief illness.
Born in Brownfield, Pa. on Jan. 21, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and BunaEtta (Weimer) Roby.
After raising her six sons, Eileen went on to work as a station clerk at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for 20 years until her retirement.
Her husband of 72 years, Stanley R. Wolfe Sr., passed away on March 22, 2022. Also deceased are two sons, Larry Wolfe and Gary Wolfe; a brother, Dave Roby; and a sister, Pat Moran.
Surviving are four sons and their wives, Bob and Debbie Wolfe and Stanley Jr. and Darlene Wolfe, all of Point Marion, Pa., Scott and Angela Wolfe, of Hanover, Pa., and Brian and Tricia Wolfe, of Westland, Mich.; two daughters-in-law, Rita Wolfe, of Gans, Pa., and Linda Wolfe, of Brookhaven; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and two sisters, Bonnie Sicina, of Point Marion, Pa. and Mary Jo Swaney, of Shoaf, Pa.
The family will receive friends in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa., from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, and from 10 a.m. on Tuesday until the 11 a.m. hour of service, with her son, Stanley Wolfe Jr. officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, Pa.
