Charles Jeffrey “Jeff” Baxter, 69, of Uniontown, Pa., passed peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024, with his family by his side.
Jeff was a 1973 Uniontown High School graduate who pursued various roles in the automotive industry. Jeff was a former business owner of Morgantown Auto Repair Service (MARS) in Morgantown.
In addition to his many industrious pursuits, Jeff had a love and dedication to a life of community service. Jeff was a member of the Uniontown Lions Club and former member of Cheat Lake Lions Club, where he served in many capacities, including his greatest passion, The Sight Foundation.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Linda Adamovich Carson Baxter; daughter, Samantha Baxter-Nard (Kenneth); sons, Jon Baxter (Kari) and Josh Baxter (Juana); stepdaughters, Rachel Strauser (Harry) and Kristie Stepp (Kenneth); 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Roger Baxter (Shirley DeCarlo) and Tom Baxter (Scarlet).
Jeff was proceeded in death by both his parents Charles and Jean Baxter.
Family and friends will be received at Crawford Funeral Home, Hopwood, Pa., from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 26. On Saturday, April 27, visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until the celebration of life service at 11 a.m. In honoring his wishes, Jeff will be cremated and laid to rest in a private burial ceremony.
