Sandra S. “Sandy” Lucci, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, in Morgantown.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1952, in Morgantown, to the late Charles Ghuste and Kathleen Smyth Broderick.
Sandy will be affectionately remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” A. Lucci; her children, Stacey Cather (BJ), of Fairmont, and Todd Lucci (Brittany), of Westover; and her sisters, Sharon Ghuste (Sherm Voithofer), of Morgantown, and Kathy Zachar (Kent), of Florida. She was the proud and loving Nonna to Carmella, Andrew and Austin Lucci, Traijon and Natalia Cather.
Throughout her career at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Sandy earned respect for her work ethic and leadership, retiring as a manager. Those who knew Sandy will fondly recall her passion for life, particularly for the joy she took in spoiling her grandchildren. She was a doting mother and Nonna, always placing her family at the center of her world.
McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation service, and no public services will be held.
