Juanita Reynolds

Juanita Reynolds, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and pillar of her community, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, at the age of 95.  

Known for her kindness and grace, Juanita touched the lives of those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who were blessed to know her.  

Juanita was the only child born to Ernest and Alice Cutright in Clarksburg on May 29, 1928.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, William Edward Reynolds (Bill); son, William Edward Reynolds II (Eddie); and grandson, William Caro Reynolds (Will).  

She is survived by three children, Pamela Kamlowsky (John), who resides in Leawood, Kan., Robert Reynolds (Laura), who resides in Concord, Mass., and Deborah Craig (Kim), who resides in Morgantown; seven grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Casey Craig and wife, Erin, Zachary Craig and wife, Leigh, Benjamin Craig and wife, Kelly, Katie Gonzalez and husband, Chris, Emily Hargersheimer and husband, Ryan, Molly Engermann and husband, Jerrell, and Abbey Redmond and husband, Tim. She was the proud great-grandmother of 24 great-grandchildren.  

Juanita was a 1946 graduate of Victory High School in Clarksburg. She was employed by the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. She retired from the Louis A. Johnson Medical Center with over 25 years of service.  

Juanita spent most of her life in Clarksburg. She and her husband, Bill, were dedicated to the community and served on several church, civic and political committees. She had been involved in the Harrison County Democratic Women in various capacities and was honored as Harrison County Woman of the Year. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Woman’s Club of Clarksburg, VFW Life Member, American Legion Auxiliary, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, YWCA, Harrison County Senior Citizen Center and a member of Stealey United Methodist Church, where she served on numerous committees.  

Juanita relocated in 2016 to the Suites at Heritage Point in Morgantown to be near her daughter.  

Friends will be received at the Stealey United Methodist Church, 521 Milford St., Clarksburg, WV 26301, at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, with the Rev. Jennifer Roller officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute with checks made payable to the WVU Foundation, 1 Waterfront Place, Morgantown, WV 26507.
