Patty Diane Romec Shine, 71, passed away peacefully at Morgantown Health & Rehabilitation Center on March 28, 2024.
She was born on June 30, 1952, to the late Paul and Flora Hewitt of Collins Ferry Road in Suncrest.
She was preceded in death by Gary Romec and Vic Shine; sisters, Joanne and Char; and only brother, Paul.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary, Barbara, Carolyn, Ruthie, Betty, Evelyn, Pam, Cheryl and Sharon. She is also survived by her only son, Brent Romec and grandchildren, Jordan, Marcus, Cooper and Peyton.
The family would like to thank Morgantown Health & Rehabilitation Center for taking such good care of her and also her sister, Sharon Jackson, for her unconditional support, love and care.
As per Patty’s wishes, she will be cremated.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
