Michael J. Kridle, 85, a lifelong resident of Point Marion, Pa., passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Born in Point Marion, Pa. on Oct. 20, 1938, he was a son of the late Walter and Virginia (Moser) Kridle.
A 1957 graduate of the Point Marion High School, he worked for a while at Houze Glass in Point Marion, Pa. before going to West Virginia University Extension Service, from which he retired as a graphic arts designer in 2003.
Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Irene (Vlassick) Kridle; a son, Michael G. Kridle and wife, Joyce, of Morgantown, and their son, Andrew (Brandi) Kridle and grandson, Holden; a daughter, Karla Floyd and husband, Roy, and their son, Roy, all of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Kridle, of Fairmont; four nieces, who he thought of as daughters, Jill, Marlene, Sharon and Carol and their families; and many friends that he considered his extended family.
Also deceased is his only brother, Roger Kridle.
Friends are invited to join with his family for a Mass of Christian burial in St. Hubert’s R.C. Church, Point Marion, Pa. at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, Pa.
