Lois Elaine Corbin, 73, of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Lois was born Aug. 22, 1950, the daughter of the late Roy Stanley Lemley and Lorene Lemley (Ammons).
Lois was the office manager of the WVU Department of Anatomy for 26 years. During that time, she filled many roles, including managing the Human Gift Registry program. Lois enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, shopping and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Corbin; children, Diana Beth Thomas (Curt), of Wadestown, Michelle “Shelley” Johnson, of Morgantown; stepchildren, Chana Duley (Michael), of Morgantown, Corey Corbin, of Bruceton Mills; sister, Jean Furman (Glenn); brother, David Lemley (Ruth); grandchildren, Jackie Phillips (Zach), Josie Thomas, Ruby Johnson, Lorna Johnson, Colton Duley, Alec Duley and Elora Corbin; great-grandchildren, Harper and Zeke Phillips and Ryder Stoneking; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lemley, and his wife, Dixie; and stepfather, Charles E. Priest.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV 26505, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 8, with Pastor Joseph Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
