Loretta Maxine Oleksa, loving mother and grandmother, age 79, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Kingwood Healthcare Center. She was born in Independence, Dec. 29, 1944, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Kathryn (Buckingham) Moran.
Surviving are her daughter, Ronda Mason of Newburg; her grandchildren, Caitlin Mason and Christian Shreeves of Fairmont, Cody Mason of Fairmont, Hailey Mason of Newburg, and Jessie Mason of Fairmont; two brothers, Clarence Griffith and Alan Moran; and one sister, Janis Mayfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward Moran, Jerry Moran, Larry Griffith, and Bobby Moran; and two sisters, Doris Copenhaver and Patty Jo Coombs.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St, Kingwood, from noon on Monday, April 1, until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home, at 2 p.m., Monday, April 1, with Rev. David Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
