Stephanie Lemley, a lifelong resident of Morgantown, achieved a life-long ambition when she opened Mountain Ridge Realty in the Seneca Center in November 2022. She was first licensed as a real estate agent in 1997, shortly before graduating from WVU.
In 2022, she was licensed as a broker by the West Virginia Real Estate Commission. This feat requires years of experience as a salesperson and passing the notoriously demanding 150-question broker’s exam. This next-level license empowered Lemley to work independently and employ other agents — and thus, Mountain Ridge Realty was born. It flourished, growing from a team of five, including co-owners Donnie Smith and Jennifer Hagerty, to a total of 13 in just over a year.
Mountain Ridge assists clients with both buying and selling properties in the north-central West Virginia area, leveraging considerable professional experience and local knowledge to provide expert support and guidance.
Many Realtors also have specialized training, including the Military Relocation Professional certification and the GREEN designation, reserved for agents who have completed training in sustainability and energy efficiency issues in real estate.
Their commitment to ongoing education is especially evident through regular guest speaker events. These events host speakers from local companies that provide invaluable services to homeowners, such as Crossroads Property Rescue and Morgantown Handyman WV Professionals, and serve to educate the agents on various topics relating to real estate and homeownership.
All of this extra education means that Mountain Ridge can customize services to clients with unique needs when buying or selling a home. Over the last year, Lemley and her trusted team of agents have demonstrated that they will go above and beyond to turn real estate dreams into reality.
