Lovetta Jeanne Moore, 81, of Smithtown Community passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Morgantown Healthcare Center. She was born in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Albert and Clivvie Dennison Bragg.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Moore.
She was lovingly known as Aunt Jeanne to family and non-family members.
She was an active member of the Smithtown Community, being involved with the homemaker’s association and the community center. She was a dedicated member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church and enjoyed quilting and traveling. She most loved her time with family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Chad Moore and his wife Angela, and Frank Moore and his wife Truc; one sister, Janet Zelenak; five grandchildren, Miranda Moore, Matthew Moore, Jonathan Moore, Ethan Moore and Kennedy Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Louise White and Rita Mae Moore.

Friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28, from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 28, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lawrence Rebelo and Pastor Randy Vincent officiating. A burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
