Bernice B. Crihfield, 79, of Fairmont, died Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born Oct. 22, 1944, at Wadestown, a daughter of the late Ralph J. Thomas and Burnette Liming Thomas.
Mrs. Crihfield was a homemaker and a member of the Hundred Church of Christ. However, she and her husband had been attending the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Fairmont.
Surviving is her husband, Robert B. Crihfield; one son, Randy Freeland of Wana; one daughter, Rita Freeland of Kingwood; one sister, Linda Tennant of Wadestown; three grandchildren, Christopher Tennant, Dustin Freeland, and Timber McClain; and two great-grandchildren, Brantley Tennant and Beckett Tennant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Thomas, Garold Thomas, and Carl Thomas; and one grandson, Steven Freeland.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 24. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery at Grafton.
