Daniel R. “Danny” Gibbons, 70, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Danny was born Aug. 30, 1953, in Baltimore City, Md., a son of the late Benjamin Richard Gibbons, and the late Verra Lea Pomp Gibbons.
Danny loved working at the Monongalia County Arts Center, and was an art enthusiast. He also worked for the Salvation Army in Morgantown for two years. He loved cats. He was a very nice man and will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.
He leaves behind many people who cared for him greatly, as well as his best friend and closest family member, JR.
Per Danny’s request, he will be cremated with no formal services. He will be laid to rest in Beverly with his family.
