Doylene Jane Davis, 73, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at Mon Health Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Morgantown, on March 6, 1950, a daughter of the late Roy Dale and Josephine (Molisee) Casseday.
Doylene was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of the Masontown Church of the Nazarene. Doylene and her late husband Bob owned and operated a candy store in Dellslow in the 1980’s. She was a teacher’s aide and Caregiver for special needs. Doylene loved spending time with family, listening and singing 50’s and 60’s music, playing board games and cards, and enjoyed cooking.
Doylene is survived by significant other, Ronnie Jordan of Point Marion, and his two children Ginger and Colbey Jordan; four children, Susie Davis and significant other Chris Hileman of Morgantown, Stacey Tennant (Davis) and her husband Tim Tennant of Durham N.C., Rob Davis and wife Jess Davis of Morgantown, Joe Davis and wife Hazel Davis of Morgantown; six grandchildren, Ezra Austin and husband Jacob Austin, Jozayah Tennant, Kacie Davis, Robbie Davis, Olivia Davis, and Charlotte Gribble; one great-grandchild, Salem Austin; siblings, Richard Casseday and wife Carolyn, James Casseday and wife Diane, Phil Casseday, and Bob Joe Casseday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Davis (Bob); siblings, Arlene Molisee, Junior Casseday, Rev Lynn Casseday, Eva Shaffer, Fred Casseday, and twin infant brothers, Dale and Daniel Casseday.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, March 4. Following the visitation cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
