Barbara Susan Mayor went to sleep in death on Feb. 25, 2024. She was born Nov. 22, 1953, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Mayor.
Barbara worked for Massachusetts Mutual for fifty years as a secretary and later as an agent. She was a faithful member of the Morgantown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses her entire life. She was well known for her Bible Educational work, was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her brother, William (Danita) Mayor; nephew, Alex (Paula); niece, Jill (Dean) Kerr; great-niece, Allison Mayor; and great-nephews, Cooper and Crosby Mayor. She is also survived by many dear, close friends.
Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. A memorial service has been planned at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 379 Smithtown Rd., Morgantown, for 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10.
