Luke was a lover of all things water and was an avid swimmer. He was a regular member at Mylan Park Aquatic Center and enjoyed swimming for hours every day. Luke also participated in therapeutic horse riding through On Eagles Wings in Fairmont.
When Luke wasn’t swimming or horseback riding, he enjoyed long walks in the botanical gardens, bowling with the Special Olympics, shopping at Walmart, and walking the family labrador retrievers around the neighborhood. Luke was a senior at University High School in Morgantown, and loved helping with the coffee cart in the morning and learning life skills. He was lucky to have the absolute best teachers supporting him throughout his academic career. Luke also enjoyed traveling with his family and visited California, Florida, and Punta Cana. Luke’s all-time favorite thing to do was to watch The Wiggles videos on his iPad.
While we are heartbroken over the loss of our sweet boy, his bright light, infectious laugh and sparkling smile will keep our hearts warm and our memories of him will last a lifetime.
