Wanda Lee Smith, 88, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
Wanda was born on July 5, 1935, in Morgantown, to the late Francis Leroy and Ada Summers McCormick.
Survivors include her two children, Cathy Patterson and husband Larry of Independence, and Gary St. Clair and wife Becky of Reedsville; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her former husband, Kenneth Smith.
Friends may join Wanda’s family to honor her life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown from 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, until the time of the funeral service at noon officiated by Pastor Kevin Cain. Following the funeral service, Wanda will be laid to rest at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Marquess.
