Brian Davis

Brian James Davis, 45, of Washington, died Jan. 28, 2024, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born June 25, 1978, in Morgantown, the son of Glenna Faye Cook Davis, and the late Carlton James Davis.

A graduate of Morgantown High School in 1996, he was the manager at Garfield’s Restaurant and Pub, worked at the Independent Club, and was a production supervisor at Presbyterian Senior Care.

Brian loved camping, fishing, and going to the beach. He enjoyed football and watching his favorite teams Kansas City Chiefs, and West Virginia Mountaineers. Brian was a member of the Independent Club, where he loved just hanging out and spending time with friends and family. He was an easy going, likeable guy and helped everyone.

On July 30, 2022, Brian married Holly Anne Rea, who survives.

Also surviving is his stepdaughter, Jade Alexa Rea; siblings, Greg Davis, Amy Gibson (James), and Phillip Davis (Rebekah); nieces and nephews, Aiden Davis, Katie Gibson, Kennedy Davis, Mackenzie Davis, Maverick Davis, and Aiden Rea; mother-in-law, Sandra “Sonie” Rea; brother-in-law, Tom (Sheri) Rea; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding Brian in death was his grandparents, Carlton and Eleanor Davis, and Glenn W. and Lorraine Cook; and father-in-law, Albert Rea.

Brian was an organ donor and would be so happy that he was able to help multiple people with his donation.

Family and friends will be received at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4. A service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Rob Grewe officiating.
