Monongalia County Board of Education President Ron Lytle will face two challengers for his Eastern District seat during May’s primary.
Shawn Smith and Christina Fattore Morgan, who are both from that district, have also filed.
An opening on the five-member board became available after long-term incumbent Nancy Walker announced she would not seek re-election to the office she’s held 28 years.
