Willis Fowler

Willis David “Butch” Fowler, 83, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024. He was born Jan. 3, 1941, in Morgantown, a son of the late Ellis and Goldie Fowler.
Butch was a member of Calvary Chapel Morgantown and a 1959 graduate of University High School.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sharon Fowler of Morgantown; daughters, Beth Impastato and her husband Laurence of Bakersfield, Calif., and Valerie Frasher and her husband Shawn of Morgantown; grandchildren, Frank Impastato and his wife Lyssa of Bakersfield, Calif., Chad Frasher and his wife Samantha of Morgantown, Chris Impastato and his wife Taliyah of Lakenheath, England, Jess Frasher and his wife Jessica of Philadelphia, Pa., and Cole Frasher of Philadelphia, Pa.; great-grandchildren, Lyla Impastato, Frankie Impastato, Kenna Frasher, Cody Impastato, Laurel Frasher, Wes Frasher, and Jace Hudson; siblings, Emil Fowler, of Pisgah, Eldon Fowler of Morgantown, brother-in-law Richard Baker of Morgantown, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Whipkey, Theodore Fowler, and Edgar Fowler.

In keeping with his wishes, Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation services. Friends and family will be received at Calvary Chapel Morgantown, 493 Tyrone Rd., Morgantown, from 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, until the time of the memorial service at noon with Pastor Shawn Frasher officiating. A private family committal service will take place at Donaldson Cemetery at a later time.
Cards and flowers may be received at Calvary Chapel Morgantown, 493 Tyrone Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the church.
